It started with correcting the spelling on a schoolmate’s paper on the bus in to junior high. Payment came in the form of help with math homework. Eventually she started providing script analysis for stage plays, helping graduate students with their theses, doing beta reads of novels, and driving the backend set up a new poetry journal. At her latest job, she had the privilege of expanding her legal knowledge through the instructive writing of Professors Levasseur and Davrados.
